Situated deep in the Rhine Valley and one of the oldest racing circuits in Europe, Hockenheim Ring was opened on March 23rd 1932 to motorcycle racing. Originally a triangular layout, the circuit has evolved through many incarnations over time until it settled onto the modern layout in 2002, a Herman Tilke design.
